Dr. Barbra Reed grew up in Creston, Iowa and attended the University of Iowa. She
received her doctor in dental medicine degree from the University of Florida College
of Dentistry. During her education at UFCD, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa
Upsilon, an honorary dental society and received several other academic awards.
After practicing as a general dentist for three years in Clearwater, Florida, Dr. Reed
returned to academics attending the University of Louisville School of Dentistry
graduate orthodontic residency program. At the University of Louisville she received
a master of science in oral biology and a specialist certificate in orthodontics.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental
Association, West Coast Dental Association, Collier County Dental Association,
American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, and
Florida Association of Orthodontists.
